In an effort to offer a place of rest and reflection when our doors can not be open during the week, Bethany's Evangelism & Outreach committee kicked off their Prayer and Meditation Garden project in late March 2019. With a small kick-start from our Board of Session, the Prayer & Mediation Garden sub-committee was able to raise an additional $14,000 to date through individual donations, brick dedications and several fundraising events throughout the year.

In conjunction with our 120th Anniversary, we officially dedicated our Garden in October 2019. As a finished product, our garden offers a beautiful 12' gazebo, three comfortable benches made out of reusable material, one Red Maple, one Star Magnolia, one Kousa Dogwood and an abundance of both annuals and perennials.

In addition, we have our own "Free Little Library®" which is a replica of our beloved building. You are encouraged to "take a book...leave a book" as part of a community exchange.
